Almost an Island?
Almost and Island? is a collaboration between UrbanWords, Spread the Word and Art on Greewich Peninsula.
The project will involve two writers in residence Aoife Mannix and Sarah Butler creating a soundscape that will represent the lives and stories of those living and working or connected with the Greenwich Peninsula. Sarah and Aoife will co-ordinate a series of free workshops and activities exploring the Greenwich Peninsula through words, sounds and stories.
Drop in workshops - Wednesday 1, 8, 15, 22 October at 82 River Way - the cottages next to The Pilot Inn from 6.30 to 8pm
Drop-in creative day for all the family - Monday 27 October at Greenwich Millennium Village Visitor Centre, Maurer Court, Teal Street (off John Harrison Way) from 10.30am to 4pm
