The art programme includes a series of interlinking components of a ‘collection’, and for phase one this included the following strands: temporary interventions, built places and spaces, events and performances, debate and education and artists on the design team.
Curatorial strategy
Both the site and the approach being taken to the regeneration are unique. Sustainability and ecology are key issues underpinning the development approach and are inherent to the art programme. The programme was developed in response to the evolving community and the shifting nature of the public realm. In due course the longer-term programme will build a legacy of art interventions in the urban fabric of the Peninsula, creating connections and cohesion across the site and building linkages to other parts of Greenwich and the surrounding areas.
